The Annual DNS Run
This day brings together the Internet community, youth, policymakers, and technologists for the DNS Run—a symbolic and participatory activity aimed at raising awareness about the importance of the Domain Name System (DNS), Internet resilience, and secure digital infrastructure in Uganda.
09 september 2026 – dns hackathon
DNS Hackathon
This hands-on DNS Hackathon brings together developers, network engineers, students, and Internet governance practitioners to collaboratively build, test, and prototype solutions that strengthen Uganda’s DNS ecosystem. Participants will work on real-world challenges such as DNS security, resilience, availability, and local Internet infrastructure.

The Uganda DNS Forum convenes policymakers, regulators, technical experts, private sector actors, civil society, and academia to advance dialogue on the governance, security, and sustainability of the Domain Name System (DNS) and critical Internet infrastructure in Uganda. The forum focuses on policy alignment, capacity building, and collaborative approaches to strengthening Uganda’s Internet ecosystem.

No. The Uganda DNS Forum is a free-to-attend, community-driven event. Participation is open to all stakeholders in the internet and DNS ecosystem. However, prior registration is required to help us plan effectively.
The Forum is open to government representatives, technical community members, private sector actors, civil society, academia, students, and the general internet community interested in DNS, internet governance, and digital infrastructure in Uganda.
Registration details and links are published on our website and official communication channels. Simply complete the online registration form once it opens to secure your spot.
The full agenda will be published on the Agenda section of the website ahead of the Forum. Updates, session details, and speaker information will also be shared via our mailing list and social media platforms.
